Application For Service - Electric

Purpose:

The Application for Service policy is designed to ensure that the EPB has proper and adequate information identifying

customers requesting service from the EPB during the time of enrollment. Obtaining the required information from

potential customers is a precautionary measure of protection to prevent any unauthorized access to customer

accounts, as well as the prevention of identity theft. This policy will be applied without regard of race, color, creed, sex,

national origin, or marital status.


Security Deposit:

Applicants for residential service will be charged a security deposit based on the EPB’s Residential Deposit Policy.

Applicants for non-residential service will be charged a security deposit based on the EPB’s Non-Residential Deposit

Policy.


Connection Fees:

The Electric Plant Board may charge a connection fee to cover the cost of turning on service. The connection fee will be

applied without regard of race, color, creed, sex, national origin, or marital status. See the

Miscellaneous Fee Schedule.
